About Merseyside and Cheshire Region
Merseyside and Cheshire Area (MCA) is one of the National College for Teaching and Leadership's regions. NLGs organise themselves regionally, but do cross borders for deployments when this is required. MCA comprises the geographical footprints of nine Local Authorities: Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, Warrington and Wirral.
